(Frequently Asked Questions)

New here? Here are some commonly asked questions to get you started.

Q: Will I be welcomed at Crossroads?

A: Yes. Whoever you are, wherever you are on your life’s journey, you are always welcome at Crossroads. Greeters will introduce themselves as you enter the lobby and will provide answers and directions. Crossroads sanctuary building is accessible to all. Tell us what you need, and we’ll try to provide it.

Q: What about my kids?

A: Children are welcome to sit with their caregivers in the Sanctuary during the Worship Service. We offer an activity sheet, crayons, and a clipboard to occupy little ones. A quiet room where you can see and hear the Service is available.

Q: What is Sunday Worship like?

A: Service starts at 10am with a musical prelude. At Crossroads, you will find an ancient yet new worship and music style. Readings and song lyrics are provided on screens during service. Regular attendees will say hello and likely invite you to sit with them at Fellowship time after service.

Q: How do I become a part of the Crossroads community? Are there ways to volunteer?

A: Relationships are what makes Crossroads feel like an extended family. People get to know each other during Fellowship time and through involvement in ministries and events. Having fun with people of like minds is important to us. Being a Greeter is a great way to get to know more people, and our Choir is looking to grow. Our ministries range from congregational care, to food assistance, and support of other community non-profits.

A partial list includes: Bible Study, Women of Crossroads, the Prayer Labyrinth, Helping Hands, the Kitchenettes (as Pastor Frank likes to call them), Deacons and Elders, Audio/Visual, Buildings and Grounds. If you have an interest or skill, we’ll put it to use!

Q: How do you help the surrounding community?

A: Our Food 4 Families program and Food Pantry help local children and adults suffer less food insecurity. The Women of Crossroads raises funds and takes donations for the Daily Bread, Nana’s House, and local schools. Each year we participate in Space Coast PrideFest, Habit for Humanity builds, and regional activities.
